Walking, bird watching, cycling, disc golf.
Beautiful views.
Both paved and dirt paths.
Dirt paths can be muddy after rain.
If you are cycling, be sure to let folks ahead know you are coming up - keeping in mind some folks have hearing loss.
I really enjoy this short round with a bay view. There's disc golf in the center and it's a total vibe! It's great to bring a pup along, and the path is easy to walk on. There is no elevation gain, so it would be good for people who prefer mild walks without too much strenuous parts. Overall great place to chill and get some nature in. One thing: there are some weird industrial parts, but that's not the core feature.
This park is ever changing! It's lost the wilderness vibe it had as they're trying to make it more usable for disc golfers and street bikes?!? So many of the trees are gone and the giant rocks.
Used to love to run my dogs here, 17yrs, 10yrs, and 9 month olds and over the years the "improvements" have taken away from this beautiful shoreline park. Hopefully they will remember it's full of wildlife and adventure awaits not concrete!
Great area to bring kids for a bike ride and picnic. There is a bathroom, which is always a bonus with kids in tow. There are many walking trails, some paved, which makes riding a bike fun. The unpaved ones are still pretty flat and easy to ride on. It's a bit smelly when you park on the street, but once you walk a little ways into the park, the smell dissipates. So, don't let the smell dissuade you. Not very busy, which is nice! Great view od the Oakland Aiport. My kids loved watching planes take off and land!
Great place to walk around and watch planes land and take off in the Oakland airport.
Great little place to walk your dogs. There is a Frisbee Golf course and it's improving all the time. If you want to walk full trail around the perimeter of the park, it's about 2.7 miles. There aren't any bathrooms on the trail thoigh.
Nice paved path with great views. There's a disc "golf" course, but not much else there.
Good place to watch airplanes fly in and out of the Oakland airport. Parking on the street at the trailhead easily on a weekday morning. If you are into disc golf, you’d love this place. Didn’t see any one play though. One star deduction because of 99% unshaded.
